The Open Basic Education (OBE) programme was initiated in June 1994, to provide primary and upper primary education to adult neo-literates. It is an equivalency programme and provides three tier education under OBE. Also, in the year 2000 the programme was extended to cover children between 6 to 14 years age group. It has been recognized by government of India as equivalent to formal school, for purpose of further education and employment

The NIOS Guidance Programme offers personalized educational resources, exam preparatory content and adaptive learning strategies tailored specifically to students who wish to get qualified under the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) curriculum. Individualized instruction combined with customized study plans allow children to build skills in reading, writing, and comprehension. The training builds the confidence that students need to succeed in learning at their own level, helping them pave the path to further education and vocational pursuits.

Expressions inclusive school has started an initiative for students with special needs – be it cognitive, intellectual, behavioural or emotional.
At Expressions Inclusive school, students with special needs will have their core education in an integrated manner with other children while their special needs will be additionally taken care of using IEP, by teachers who are trained to attend to their Special needs
Special children need special education to enable them to gain independence & achievement.
With this in mind our special educators deal with the special needs of the children be it Dyslexia/Dysgraphia/Dyscalculia/ADHD/Autism Spectrum disorders/Learning disabilities/Cerebral Palsy/Down syndrome/Global development disorder etc
